Sept. 13: Intro to BDSM & the Cuffs Controversy. Gold Room, Memorial Union at 8:00PM.
An introduction to the BDSM community and Cuffs as a group, followed by an explanation of the controversy faced by Cuffs in the Spring of 2004.
Sept. 28: Movie & Discussion: Quills Room 244/246, Memorial Union at 8:00PM.
We will be watching the movie “Quills”, a movie illustrating some of the historical baggage faced by the contemporary BDSM community. Discussion will follow over the email listserv.
Oct. 14: Bondage Tutorial Cardinal Room, Memorial Union at 8:00PM.
What to look for in a rope, what safety equipment you need, and of course, how to tie up your loved ones for fun and enjoyment.
Oct. 28: Halloween Party Oak Room, Memorial Union at 8:00PM.
Join us for music and merrymaking. Kinky costumes* (or regular ones) not required, but it’s a lot more fun that way! *Costumes must be appropriate for public.
Nov. 11: Guest Lecture – SART Pine Room, Memorial Union at 8:00PM.
The Story County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) will be with us this night. They will give a brief presentation on the services they offer, and then we will have a two-way question-and-answer session. Come find out more about how to be safe, and help educate these officials on our unique community (for their benefit and ours).
Nov. 25: No meeting, Thanksgiving Break
